Shot in northeastern Kenya, this film showcases the inefficiencies that have lacerated the communities of North Eastern Kenya.

Working with Generation for Change and Growth, the film was broadcasted with the Ministry of Education and UNICEF who partnered to inquire into the educational gaps in Northern Kenya.

Northern Kenya, a region marginalized due to deprivation of resources struggles to catch up with the rest of the country. With less the 5% literacy rate, the region is touted as Kenya’s new frontier focus on development, whether this is true remains to be seen. Education in the region is espoused to be affected by the pastoral life style of this community.
